Description

No. 9 Market Place is an early 19th-century shop constructed of local brown brick with a modern tiled roof. The building stands three storeys tall and features two bays. It has a moulded brick cornice and two recessed hung sash windows at both the first and second floor levels, which are set in cambered gauged brick arches. The second floor windows still retain their original glazing bars. The ground floor has been adapted for a modern shop use.
