Description

No. 6 Market Place is an 18th-century shop located in Wisbech Market Place. The building features painted stucco and has a steeply pitched, modern tiled roof with a ridge stack on the left side. It stands two storeys tall and includes a four-paned hung sash window on the upper floor. The ground floor showcases an early 19th-century shop front with canted windows flanking a glazed shop door. Inside, there is a 17th-century ovolo moulded ceiling beam in the basement, along with original brick steps leading to the street.
