Description

No. 11 Market Place is an early 19th-century shop. It is constructed of grey gault brick and has four storeys and two bays, with a basement. The building has a stone coping to the parapet and a stack on the left-hand side. The third floor has two recessed sash windows with nine panes, a moulded stone cornice, and sill. The second floor has two similar windows with twelve panes. A stone band and rusticated quoins mark the first floor, which features a large, mid-19th century, three-light window with hung sashes and stone consoles to the cornice. The front of the building now has a modern shop window and door.
