Description

No. 54 Market Place is a shop dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of painted local brown brick and has three storeys with four bays, including a bay on the rounded corner. The building features stone coping along the parapet. On the second floor, there are two hung sash windows and two blind windows. The first floor has a large, four-light canted bay window from the mid-19th century facing the Market Place, along with one hung sash window. The ground floor has a modern shop front.
