Description

44 and 45 Market Place is a shop building from the late 18th century that has been altered. It is constructed of local brown brick with roughcast render and features a modern pantile roof. The building stands three storeys high and has two bays, with a central stack and stone coping to the parapet. At the second floor, there are two four-paned recessed hung sash windows with stone cills, while the first floor has larger windows. The ground floor has been fitted with a modern shopfront.
