Description
Number 30 is a house located on Soutergate in Ulverston, dating from the late 18th century. The exterior is pebbledashed with painted ashlar dressings and features an artificial slate roof. The house has two bays, with the entrance situated in the left-hand bay. The windows are 20th-century casements set in painted stone surrounds, and there is a flat-roofed 20th-century attic dormer. The entrance is accessed by five stone steps that have railings, and the doorway has a painted stone surround with a shallow cyma moulding. To the right of the steps, there is a cellar opening with a segmental head. The cornice gutter extends from the adjoining house, Number 32. There are chimneys on the gables and between the houses. The interior has not been inspected.
