KING STREET (West side) No.33 Queen's Hotel

Hotel, now restaurant. Mid C19. Stucco with painted ashlar dressings and hipped slate roof. 3 storeys plus attic. Facade symmetrical, with plinth, chamfered quoins, and 1st-floor sill band. 3 bays. The windows are 6-pane sashes. On the ground floor they have quoined surrounds. The upper storeys have plain windows surrounds. The central window on the 1st floor has an architrave with a cornice on brackets. The surrounds to the outer bays on the 1st floor contain blind panels below the sashes. The 3 attic dormers have casement windows and segmental tops. The doorway has a quoined surround and a cornice on brackets. Chimneys to left and right. The right-hand return wall, facing Mill Street, is of 3 bays, but is blind at the left on the ground floor. INTERIOR altered.
