Description

27 and 29 King Street comprise two shops with living accommodation above, dating from the early to mid-19th century. They have painted render facades and slate roofs. The buildings are three storeys high, each with two bays. The ground floors now contain 20th-century shop fronts. The upper floors feature six-pane sash windows within painted surrounds and projecting sills. The windows on the second floor have sill brackets. A projecting cornice serves as a gutter. Brick chimney caps are visible to the left and right. The buildings have group value.
