Description

This is a terrace of four houses located on Wigton Market Hill. Dating to the late 18th or early 19th century, the houses are constructed of incised stucco, with Nos 11 and 12 having painted, V-jointed quoins and a chamfered plinth. They have a 20th-century tile roof and 20th-century brick chimney stacks on the left, with earlier 19th-century chimney stacks to the right.

The houses are three storeys high, with No 7 being one bay wide, while No 8 is two bays wide. Nos 7 and 8 each have a panelled door set within a painted stone surround. Nos 11 and 12 have a panelled door and a 20th-century door, both within painted stone architraves. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, with smaller windows on the upper floor. All are set in painted stone surrounds; the ground floor windows have cornices, while the upper floor windows are in plain reveals.
