Description
Nos. 4-12 Chiswick Street are five houses that form part of a terrace built in the late 1860s or early 1870s. They feature Flemish bond brickwork with light headers, set on a chamfered plinth, and have dressings made of calciferous sandstone, most of which are painted. The houses have a stone-bracketed metal gutter and a common Welsh slate roof, with one house featuring a gabled roof dormer and original shared ridge brick chimney stacks. Each house is two storeys high and has two bays, following a double-depth plan. The entrances are paired, except for No. 4, which is located on the right. These entrances have panelled doors and overlights within pilastered surrounds, accessed by steps. The windows are sash style and set in stone architraves. The interiors have not been inspected.
