Description
Nos. 4 and 5 Wesley Street are two houses that form part of a terrace built in the early 19th century. They feature Flemish bond brickwork and a slate roof, standing two storeys tall with an attic. Each house has one window, with a small flat-roofed dormer above 12-pane sash windows that are set beneath brick voussoirs and stone sills. To the right of each window, there is a plain brick arch on responds, with a painted-over radial fanlight above. The door to No. 4 is from the 20th century, while No. 5 has a six-panel door from the 19th century. The houses have a small stone plinth that meets the pavement level on the left, a plain mid band, and a ridge stack located on the left party walls. This pair of houses remains the least modified compared to the original terrace of Nos. 1-11. The interior has not been inspected.
