Description

This is a two-bay house forming part of a terrace, built in the 1840s. It is constructed of Flemish bond brickwork with a chamfered plinth and a stone cornice, featuring painted stone dressings. The roof is covered with graduated Welsh slate and includes an original shared brick chimney stack. The house has two storeys. A panelled door with a fanlight, set within a stone surround and a rounded brick archway, is on the left side. A similar doorway, providing access to a through-passage and featuring a radial patterned fanlight, is on the right. Sash windows are set within stone architraves. The interior has not been inspected. The property appears on the 1842 Studholme map of Carlisle.
