Description
This is a mid-19th century house located at 29 Lauds Road. It is built of brick and features a rendered string course at the first and attic floor levels, topped with a slate roof and brick stacks. The house has two storeys and an attic, with a three-bay façade. The entrance, located in the second bay from the left, has a wooden surround with panelled pilasters, a flat hood supported by brackets, and a four-panel door with an overlight. All windows have rendered lintels and consist of three-light wooden casements with a transom. The building is adorned with a brick dentil cornice. There is a 19th-century extension to the right, constructed with similar materials, which has one bay and two storeys. This extension features a carriage entrance with a brick arch and a three-light casement window with a wooden lintel above, also topped with a brick dentil cornice.
