Description
Woolcombe Adam's Farmhouse is a house dating from the mid-18th century, with alterations to the roof in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of coursed ironstone rubble and features a tile roof with brick stacks. The building has two storeys and an attic, arranged in four bays. The doorway in the second bay from the right has a wood lintel and a four-panel part-glazed door. To the right of this doorway is a two-light casement window with a wood lintel, and there are two similar windows to the left. On the first floor, there are two-light casement windows with wood lintels. To the right of the left window on the first floor, there is a blank stone plaque with a moulded hood. There is a 18th-century extension to the right, made of coursed squared ironstone and topped with a corrugated iron roof. This extension is one storey high and has one bay, with a doorway to the left that features a wood lintel and a plank door with an overlight. The gable end to the right is coped. The interior has not been inspected.
