Description

This is an 18th-century house located on Crick Laud's Road. A datestone indicates the year 1772, with the initials "IWS". The house is constructed with a stone plinth, red and grey chequer brickwork displaying a diaper pattern on the right side, and a tile roof. It is two storeys high and consists of four bays. The entrance, located in the second bay from the left, is framed by a wooden surround featuring reeded pilasters, an entablature with incised decoration, a flat moulded hood, and a four-panel door. The left side has sash windows with side lights within plain brick surrounds. The right side has two twelve-pane sash windows retaining their original glazing bars. Similar sash windows are present on the first floor. A brick string course runs along the first floor level. The gable ends are coped and feature kneelers. The interior of the house has not been inspected.
