Description
Tudor House is a cottage dating from the 17th century, which was remodelled in the 20th century. It is constructed from coursed ironstone rubble and features a thatched roof with brick stacks. The building is one storey and has an attic, comprising five bays.
The central gabled timber porch, also with a thatch roof, leads to a doorway framed with moulded wood and a plank door. To the left of the doorway is a small two-light casement window with a wood lintel, while a one-light window with a wood lintel is to the right. In the left bay, there is a four-light casement window with a wood lintel, and similar three-light windows are found in the right bay and the second bay from the right. The building has 20th-century gabled half dormers and a three-light window with an old iron casement situated above the entrance. The right gable features stone coping, while the left gable has brick coping. There is a large stack to the right of centre and a smaller stack to the right. The interior has not been inspected.
