Description

No. 6 West End is a house dating from the late 17th century and the 19th century. It features squared coursed lias and a timber frame with small framing and brick infill panels, topped with a slate roof. The building has a three-unit plan and stands two storeys high. The first floor has a two-window range, while the ground floor has three windows, all of which are casements with glazing bars. To the left of the centre, there is a four-panelled door. The elevation facing the road and the left gable show exposed timber framing and a lias plinth that includes a cellar window. There are brick stacks at the ridge and end, while the right gable is made of lias. The roof was added in the 19th century. The interior has not been inspected.
