Description
No. 7 Southam Street is a house dating from the late 17th century or 18th century, with later alterations. It is constructed of coursed dressed blue lias limestone, with some plaster on the first floor at the left end. The roof is gabled and covered with old tiles, featuring a brick stack at the end. The house has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys plus an attic, with a two-window range.
The entrance on the left side has a timber lintel above a plank door, while the entrance on the right has a timber lintel over a six-flush-panel door, with two of the panels being glazed. The ground floor windows have lintels above three-light casements, and the first floor features smaller windows with two-light casements. The interior has not been inspected.
