Description

No. 4 Southam Street is a building that originally consisted of three houses, dating from the late 17th century or 18th century, with significant reconstruction in the 20th century. The structure is made of coursed dressed blue lias limestone, with plaster at the wall head and some brick on the left end. It features a gabled roof covered with old tiles and has three brick stacks arranged cross-axially.

The building is two storeys high and has a three-window range. The entrance is located to the left of the centre and features a timber lintel above a plank door. The windows also have timber lintels. On the ground floor, there are two windows on the left end, one of which is a bricked-up opening with a two-light small-paned casement, and the other has small-paned glazing. The centre window is a two-light small-paned casement, while the right end has a pair of windows with casements and fixed glazing. The first floor contains three windows, each with three-light casements. The interior has not been inspected.
