Description

No. 14 West End is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick and has a slate roof, featuring a three-unit plan. The building is partially three storeys high and has a three-window range of casements. The two central casements on the first floor have Gothic glazing bars, all of which are set under flat gauged brick arches. The central entrance consists of a six-panelled door topped by an arched fanlight with glazing bars and a moulded wood surround. The left bay of the house is only two storeys tall. The main house has ashlar gable parapets and kneelers, with brick stacks at both ends. The interior has not been inspected.
