Description

No. 12 Elkington Road is a house dating from the late 17th century and the 19th century. It features a timber frame with small framing on a lias plinth, brick infill, and a corrugated metal roof. The building has a three-unit plan and is single-storey with an attic. The ground floor has a three-window range of casements, and there is a 19th-century plank door located to the right of the centre. The wall sections to the left and right of the centre have been rebuilt in brickwork, although the timber frame may still be present under the section to the right. There are brick stacks at the ridge and end of the building, and there are 19th and 20th-century extensions to the left. The interior has not been inspected, but it is noted to have chamfered ceiling beams.
