Description
No. 51 is a house dating from the late 16th century or early 17th century. It features a timber-frame and plaster construction, with sandstone rubble and a thatched roof. The building is single-storey with an attic and has a single-window range that includes a fixed light with a glazing bar. There is a 19th-century plank door with a light and an eyebrow dormer with a 19th-century two-light casement window. To the left, there is an 18th-century rubble wing that contains an 18th-century three-light casement window with old glass. The left side of the building has a 19th-century plank door set in a simple architrave, with a two-light casement window above it. The right side is constructed of timber-frame and plaster over rubble. The interior has not been inspected.
