Description

Onibury House is an 18th-century house with 19th-century additions. It features painted brick construction and a plain tile roof, with a 20th-century restored brick stack on the right and a 19th-century brick stack on the left front.

The exterior is two storeys high and has a four-window range. The late 19th-century windows are 6/6 sashes with cambered heads in moulded cases, while to the left, there are 20th-century casements under brick segmental arches. The entrance is located to the centre left and consists of a panelled door within a 19th-century gabled porch that has scrolled bargeboards. To the right of the entrance, there are two similar 18th-century sashes under deep brick segmental arches. A continuous storey band runs along the building.

On the left side, which faces the garden, there are two gables with pierced moulded and scrolled bargeboards. The four-window range here includes 20th-century 6/6 horizontal casements and 3/6 casements in the gables. The ground floor features two canted bays with a mix of 2/2, 6/6, and 2/2 sashes. There is a 19th-century wing to the left with a four-window range of 6/6 sashes on both the ground and first floors, and it has a matching gable to the left.

At the rear, there are two gable wings that include 20th-century casements, a fire escape door, and a brick chimney. The interior has not been inspected.
