Description

The K6 telephone kiosk in Scaldwell is a standard design made of cast iron and painted red. It features long horizontal glazing in the door and sides, with crowns applied to the top panels rather than perforated. There are rectangular white display signs that read "TELEPHONE" beneath the shallow curved roof. The kiosk has modern internal equipment and is in good condition, retaining all its glass windows. It is situated on The Green, near Home Farmhouse, The Old House, and The Old Fox, all of which are Grade II listed and share a strong visual relationship with the kiosk.
