Description
The K6 telephone kiosk in Back Hill, Shotteswell, is a standard design made of cast iron and painted red. It features long horizontal glazing in the door and sides, with crowns on the top panels that are applied rather than perforated. There are rectangular white display signs reading "TELEPHONE" beneath the shallow-curved roof. The kiosk has modernised internal equipment and is in good condition, with fresh paint and fully glazed glass windows. It is located close to the centre of the village and has a strong visual connection with Laurel Farm, which is approximately 75 meters to the north, and Suncroft, about 40 meters to the northeast, both of which are also listed as Grade II.
