Description
The K6 telephone kiosk in Farthingstone is a standardised design made of cast iron and painted red overall. It features long horizontal glazing in the door and sides, with crowns on the top panels that are applied rather than perforated. There are rectangular white display signs reading "TELEPHONE" beneath the shallow curved roof. The kiosk has modernised internal equipment. Although the red paint is flaking in some areas, it has retained all its glass panes. The kiosk is situated in front of Homedale House and near Field View, both of which are Grade II listed buildings, creating a strong visual relationship with them.
