Description

The K6 telephone kiosk is a standard design made of cast iron and is painted red overall. It features long horizontal glazing in the door and sides, with applied crowns on the top panels rather than perforated ones. There are rectangular white display signs that read "TELEPHONE" beneath the shallow curved roof. The internal equipment has been modernised. The kiosk is generally in good condition and appears to be intact.

It stands prominently on the roadside, directly in front of the Grade II listed No. 88 Walcot Street and St Michael's Church House, and has a close relationship with other nearby listed buildings.
