Description
The Old House is a mid-18th century house constructed from squared coursed lias stone with a slate roof. It features a lobby-entry plan and stands two storeys tall with an attic. The front has a three-window range of casements with leaded lights set beneath wooden lintels. A central 20th-century door is also located under a wooden lintel. The house has ashlar gable parapets that were restored in the 20th century and a central brick chimney stack. At the rear, there is a late 18th-century wing. Inside, the central stack retains remnants of open fireplaces with bressumers and has chamfered ceiling beams.
