Description
This building, located immediately east of Uppingstone House and bordering the High Street, is a house that has been converted into a workshop. It likely dates from the late 17th century and was altered in the 18th century. The structure is built of squared coursed lias and brick, topped with a plain tile roof. It features a two-unit plan and stands two storeys high, with a two-window range of casements beneath brick arches; the right-hand windows have leaded lights. There is a central 19th-century four-panelled door. The gable ends have ashlar parapets with brick stacks. The right gable includes two blocked 2-light stone-mullion windows. It is believed that this property was once part of a larger house.
