Description

Hall’s Farmhouse is a late 16th and early 17th century farmhouse, with alterations from the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of squared coursed lias stone with a 20th-century tile roof and follows a T-shaped plan. The front elevation has a two-window range of 20th-century casement windows, each with a wooden lintel, and a central 19th-century stable door. A projecting cross wing is located to the left. The gables have ashlar parapets and kneelers, with a brick stack at one end and an ashlar stack at the end of the cross wing. Dormers have been added to the left side of the building. The interior was not inspected, but it is noted to contain chamfered ceiling beams. The rear of the building was also not inspected but is said to have a datestone dated 1598. This property has group value from its contribution to the historical landscape.
