Description
Home Farmhouse is a farmhouse that has been converted into a house. It features a datestone from 1657 and elements from the mid-18th century. The building is constructed from squared coursed lias and has a slate roof, with a T-shape plan. It is two storeys tall with an attic. The entrance front, which dates from the 18th century, has a three-window range of casements with glazing bars set under wooden lintels. There is a central 20th-century door also beneath a wooden lintel. The gable ends are adorned with ashlar parapets and kneelers, and there are brick stacks at the ends. The rear wing includes a 17th-century datestone. Inside, there are some chamfered beams and an early 19th-century staircase featuring a quarter landing and stick balustrade.
