Workshop, School Road, Coldingham

The building is a workshop located on School Road in Coldingham, likely dating from the 18th century with some later alterations. It is a single-storey structure with a near rectangular plan, adjoining a separate two-storey property to the east. The exterior is constructed of harl-pointed rubble with weathered rubble dressings, and features sandstone quoins along with some long and short surrounds to the openings.

On the southwest elevation, which serves as the entrance, there are two bays. The central feature is a boarded timber door, with a single window to the right. The northwest side elevation has five bays, featuring a two-leaf boarded timber door at the center, and bipartite windows in the remaining bays on both sides, all with timber frames, cills, and lintels. The northeast rear elevation is blind.

The building has 12-pane glazing in its timber windows and is topped with a pantiled, piended roof. The interior was not seen in 1999.
