Description

Earlier to mid 19th century. 2-storey, 4-bay, rectangular-plan workshop. Chlorite-slate rubble with squared rubble quoins and slab lintels.

NE ELEVATION: door to left at ground with 3 windows to right, 4 irregularly-disposed window openings abutting eaves at 1st floor with further brick-blocked opening to outer left.

NW ELEVATION: gabled elevation with window to centre at 1st floor and canted outer right angle.

SE ELEVATION: blank gabled elevation.

SW ELEVATION: variety of openings including lean-to bay with horizontally-aligned glazing on return to right, and 4 rooflights to right.

Variety of glazing patterns, including timber sash and case windows and mostly timber-framed windows elsewhere. 2 windows with louvered lower sashes to 1st floor to NE. Grey slates. Coped and banded ashlar stacks with can to NW.
