Workshop, 14 Chapel Street, Aberfeldy

The building is a workshop located at 14 Chapel Street in Aberfeldy, dating from the earlier to mid 19th century. It is a two-storey, four-bay structure with a rectangular plan, constructed from chlorite-slate rubble, featuring squared rubble quoins and slab lintels.

On the northeast elevation, there is a door on the left side at ground level, with three windows to the right. The first floor has four irregularly-placed window openings near the eaves, along with an additional brick-blocked opening on the outer left. The northwest elevation has a gabled design with a window in the center of the first floor and a canted outer right angle. The southeast elevation is a blank gable, while the southwest elevation displays a variety of openings, including a lean-to bay with horizontally-aligned glazing on the return to the right, and four rooflights also on the right side.

The building features a mix of glazing patterns, including timber sash and case windows, as well as mostly timber-framed windows elsewhere. Notably, there are two windows with louvered lower sashes on the first floor of the northeast elevation. The roof is covered with grey slates, and there are coped and banded ashlar stacks with a can on the northwest side.
