Description
Barby Cottage is an 18th-century cottage located on Kilsby Road. It features pebbledashed walls and a thatched roof with a central rendered stack. The building has two storeys and an attic, comprising three bays. The doorway in the right bay is topped with a gabled timber hood and has a three-panel part-glazed door set in a pebbledashed surround. To the left of the doorway is a four-light casement window with a similar surround, while the left bay has a three-light casement window with a wooden lintel. On the first floor, there is a two-light casement window with a wooden lintel in the right bay, and other first-floor windows are three-light casements with wooden lintels. The attic on the right side has two-light casement windows with wooden lintels. There is a 20th-century extension that extends forward from the left side of the cottage. The interior has not been inspected.
