Description
Grey's Orchard is a cottage dating from the 17th to 18th century. It features rendered walls, likely made of cob, and a thatch roof with brick stacks. The building has one storey and an attic, comprising seven bays. The entrance, located in the third bay from the left, has a 20th-century glazed porch and thatch roof. The inner doorway has a rendered surround and a 20th-century door. On either side of the entrance are two 2-light casement windows with rendered frames, and there is a 3-light casement window with a similar frame in the right bay. The second bay from the right contains a carriage entrance with a wooden lintel, which is now glazed on both sides. The roof features four half dormers and two full dormers, with a coped gable end on the left. The interior has not been inspected.
