Description
The Homestead is a house dating from 1769, as indicated by the datestone above the doorway. It is constructed from squared coursed ironstone and features a slate roof with brick stacks. The building has a lobby-entry plan and is two storeys high with an attic, comprising three bays. The doorway, located in the third bay from the left, has a moulded wood surround with corner roundels, and a six-panel door with an overlight and panelled reveals. To the left of the doorway is a small one-light window with a stone surround. The remaining windows are three-light transomed casements with wood lintels. The gable ends are coped, and there is a stack to the left of centre and on the gable. A two-light casement window with a wood lintel is present in the attic on the right side. The interior has not been inspected.
