Description

This is a cottage dating from the late 17th or early 18th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble, with a thatched roof and brick ridge and end stacks. The cottage has a 3-unit plan and a 3-window front. The ground floor features a central 20th-century door with a wooden lintel, along with 2-light casement windows with wooden lintels. The first floor mirrors the ground floor with similar windows and lintels. A blocked door is located to the far right, and another door is situated to the left, both with wooden lintels. Inside, the cottage has chamfered spine beams and an open fireplace with a chamfered bressumer.
