Description

This is a cottage located at 17 Little Lane, dating from the 18th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a reed thatch roof, along with brick stacks at the ridge and ends. The cottage has a two-unit plan and is two stories high with a two-window range. A 20th-century door is positioned on the far left, framed with pegged wood and topped with a wood lintel that extends over a three-light casement window to the right. There are also two-light casement windows on the ground floor to the right and on the first floor, the latter set in eyebrow dormers. Inside, the cottage has chamfered spine beams.
