Description

No. 10 is a cottage located on Little Street, dating from the 18th century and altered in the 20th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a reed thatch roof with a brick end stack on the right and a stone end stack on the left. The cottage consists of two units and is two stories high with a two-window range. There is a plank door positioned to the right of center, which has a stop-chamfered wood lintel above it. To the far right, there is a three-light casement window, also with a stop-chamfered wood lintel, and a brick pier situated between the door and the window. The first floor has two-light casement windows set in eyebrow dormers. Inside, the cottage is noted for its chamfered spine beams.
