Description

This is an early 19th-century house located on the north side of Stamford Road in Easton on the Hill. Originally conceived as part of a two-unit terrace, it is constructed of squared coursed limestone with a Collyweston slate roof. The facade has two storeys and a two-window arrangement. The first floor features a range of six-paned sash windows, each with a gauged stone head. A bow window on the ground floor has sash windows with glazing bars and a dentilled cornice. A six-panel door is positioned on the right-hand side, topped with a 20th-century hood. A stone stack is located at the end of the building. Some 20th-century windows are present at the rear. The interior remains uninspected. The house is documented in "An Inventory of Architectural Monuments in North Northamptonshire" on page 60.
