Description
The Old Farmhouse is a farmhouse that has been converted into a house, with origins dating back to the 18th century and a main range added in the early 19th century. It is constructed of squared coursed limestone and features a Collyweston slate roof. The original design was a two-unit plan. The building has two storeys, with part of it being single storey and having an attic.
The front has a two-window range of 19th-century casement windows, which are set under wooden lintels, as well as some 20th-century concrete lintels. There is a central part-glazed door, also under a wooden lintel. Stone stacks are located at both ends of the building. To the right, there is a single storey section with an attic that may date back to the 18th century, featuring 19th-century style casement windows under wooden lintels and two eaves dormers with similar casements. The central part-glazed door in this section is also under a wooden lintel. The interior has not been inspected.
