Description
This is a late 18th or early 19th century house on the south side of High Street in Easton on the Hill. It is constructed of squared coursed limestone with a Collyweston slate roof. The house has a two-unit plan and is a single storey with an attic. Originally, it had a two-window front, with 20th-century casement windows in the original openings, each set under a timber lintel. There are two gabled eaves dormers to the attic, each with casement windows featuring glazing bars. A central 20th-century part-glazed door is also set under a timber lintel. A stone stack is located at one end of the building. A similar range attached to the rear of the property was once a separate dwelling. The interior has not been inspected. The building is included on the list for its contribution to the group value of the surrounding properties.
