Description
This is a cottage located on Wormleighton's Way in Geddington, dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble and features a thatched roof with two brick chimneys. The front of the building has a gabled range with a stone quoined right-hand corner and a 19th-century gable end stack. At the rear, there is a full-width wing with a hipped end and a 19th-century brick stack at the hip. The cottage is two storeys high and has a two-window front. On the ground floor, there is a 19th-century four-light casement window under a timber lintel to the right, and a small single-light casement window to the left. On the first floor, there is a three-light casement window to the right and a two-light casement window to the left, both of which are iron-framed and gudgeon-hung. There is a 20th-century door beneath a wooden lintel in the end gable wall, and the rear wing features irregular 19th-century casement windows. The interior has not been inspected.
