Description
This is a house comprising two distinct phases of building, likely dating from the 17th century (with a gable-end to the street, now a cross-wing) and the 18th century (forming the main block). The cross-wing is constructed of coursed ironstone rubble, banded with limestone, while the main block is of coursed squared limestone, banded with ironstone. The cross-wing has a coped Collyweston stone slate roof, with a moulded stone ridge and end stacks, whereas the main block has a slate roof. The main block, one bay wide, features three-light casement windows to both the ground and first floors, set within roll-moulded stone surrounds and flush keystones. The cross-wing has a 20th-century door to the left, along with inserted three-light small-pane casement windows to the ground and first floors, also in plain stone surrounds with flush keystones. A board door is located to the right, within a moulded wooden frame and a roll-moulded stone surround, topped with a cyma cornice.
