Description

No. 4 The Green is a house dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of regularly coursed limestone and features a thatched roof. The original layout was a two-unit plan, and the building is a single storey with an attic. The front has a three-window range of 20th-century casements on the ground floor, which are set under wooden lintels. The attic windows are also casements with glazing bars, positioned beneath eyebrow dormers. A central plank door is located under a wooden lintel. The house has ashlar gable parapets and brick stacks at both ends. To the right, there is a single-storey outbuilding that has been incorporated into the house. The interior has not been inspected.
