Description
This is an early 18th-century house located on Chapel Street in Titchmarsh. The house is constructed from squared coursed limestone with a thatched roof. Originally planned as two units, it is a single-story building with an attic. The front facade has a two-window arrangement at ground floor, featuring 20th-century leaded casement windows set beneath wooden lintels with wooden fascias. A 20th-century door is located towards the right, also under a wooden lintel. Three similar casement windows are set within eyebrow dormers in the attic. An ashlar gable parapet is present on the right side, and there is a brick stack at the end. Inside, the house retains an open fireplace with a bressumer and the remains of a bread oven.
