Description
Numbers 24 and 26, along with an attached outbuilding, are two dwellings that date back to 1650, with alterations made in the 19th century. The buildings are constructed from squared coursed limestone and feature roofs made of concrete tiles, pantiles, and 19th-century plain tiles. Originally designed with a three-unit plan, the structures rise to two storeys and present a five-window range. The left side has three 20th-century casements set in sash openings, while the right side features two 19th-century casements, all positioned under wooden lintels. Between the window ranges, there are two 19th-century four-panel, part-glazed doors, also under wooden lintels. The left side has an ashlar gable parapet, and there are brick and ashlar stacks at the ridge and end. The attached outbuilding on the right side of No. 24 is part of the same range and includes a plank door on the far right, with ashlar gable parapets. A partially legible datestone can be found in the right gable of the outbuilding. Additionally, there is a 19th-century single-storey extension at the rear. The interiors have not been inspected.
