Description

No. 9 The Green is a small house dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It is constructed of limestone rubble with timber lintels and features an asbestos-slate roof with brick gable stacks. The house has a two-unit plan and is one storey plus attics. The irregular front includes two 2-light casements, a smaller inserted window, and an entrance located to the right of centre within a 20th-century porch. The gable walls have large stepped chimney projections and contain attic casements. The interior has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value.
