Description

Forge Cottage is a house dating to the 17th century. It is constructed of colourwashed, coursed limestone rubble with wooden lintels, and has a thatched roof with brick gable stacks. The house has a two-unit plan and one storey plus attics. The front has a 6-panel door positioned between two 3-light casement windows, and two 2-light dormers. A stone chimney projection is visible on the right gable wall, while further stacks are on the left gable. The interior has not been inspected.
