Description
Church Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse constructed of brick in Flemish bond with flared headers, along with limestone rubble. It features a Welsh-slate roof with brick stacks and has a double-depth plan. The building is two storeys high and has a symmetrical three-window brick front that includes a rubbed-brick storey band and gauged flat arches. The central round-arched doorway contains a six-panel door with a fanlight above, flanked by a 12-pane sash window and 16-pane sashes in the outer bays. The roof is shallow-pitched and hipped, with wide eaves and paired brackets, and has stacks on either side. The side walls are made of rubble, while the three-window rear is constructed of rubble with brick dressings and features segmental arches. The interior has not been inspected.
